Brenda Wood is an Australian textile artist working primarily with painted fabric and stitch. Her practice explores colour, pattern, memory and visual language, moving between abstraction, portraiture, landscape and social narrative.

Brenda Wood’s collaborative practice extends from Workshop in a Box to the Rainbow Stash Challenge series — large-scale participatory textile projects uniting artists across Australia, New Zealand, the United States and Europe. Each project pairs a structured colour or technique prompt with public exhibition outcomes, most recently touring internationally and premiering at Quilt Expo Beaujolais, France, in 2027.
