Oceanmagicarium

Ocean fish have unique shapes, markings and colours, yet 20Mtrs from the surface red is lost, followed by other colours in the ROYGBIV rainbow scale.
Colour isn’t visible at depths, they turn into greys, browns or shiny flashes.

Brought to the surface the magical colours emerge. Vibrant pinks, golds & teals, yellows & electric blues and oh so many red fish.

So why do fish have such exotic markings and colours? The answer is magical! Fish see more colour spectrums than humans do, and they use the loss of light to change these bright colours so that they change their shape or blend with their backgrounds. Some fish can change colours quickly, this helps with camouflage, attracting a mate  and fooling predators.

I chose to represent the magic that happens to fish when they are in differing depths of water.
